Simon Cowell's son Eric crashed his famous dad's interview for Extra TV with his ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour.

Cowell's little son who is going to be two years soon wasted no time in upstaging his dad during his interview with Seymour for Extra TV earlier this week. In an interview with The Daily Mirror, Cowell revealed about his health issues and how much he struggled to quit smoking after his son was born. Cowell was concerned about Eric adopting his smoking habit, which made him give up smoking to some extent, according to Mail Online.

Cowell enjoyed being with his son during the interview as well as the prank he pulled on him and Seymour. The little fellow offered his dad a piece of carrot and took it back in spite of his dad's order not to take it to Seymour. Eric pretended to give it to her but turned back with a cheeky smile on his face.

Simon Cowell's Son Influenced His Dad to Give Up Smoking

"I have cut down. But if Eric grows up and says to stop it, I don't know what I would do," Cowell confessed. "I don't smoke around him and I wouldn't do that. I have thought about what he might say in a few years. It is my worst vice," he added.

The star also opened up about his struggle to quit smoking with "One Direction" star Louis Tomlinson, as she revealed: "I was saying to Louis, this is the one thing I would find very difficult to give up because I do love a cigarette. A cigarette and a beer."

Simon Cowell's Son Is Persistent About Things Just Like His Dad

The 56-year-old star said that Eric is persistent about having what he wants, when Seymour asked Cowell if his son takes after him.

"When he just wants something, he's like me. He says it over and over again," Cowell noted.
