The 343 Industries' developed and Microsoft Studios' published new game "Halo 5: Guardians" is coming on Oct. 27 and Major Nelson said they were preparing for the baddest and biggest launch ever.
The first-person-shooter video game will be launched in North America on Oct. 27 midnight. From 6 p.m. Monday, there will be a six-hour broadcast live, to culminate the launch of the first-person-shooter.
According to Major Nelson, two of the favorite "Halo 5: Guardians" launch details are the "Halo 5: Guardians" Writers' Roundtable and the behind-the-scenes video of "Halo: The Fall of Reach."
The former is an exclusive BTS chat between the creative team and Nathan Fillion, who voiced Spartan Buck in the game; and the latter will present a special BTS video of "Halo 5: The Fall of Reach," an upcoming animated series that provides backstories of of Blue Team, Spartan-II program and a soldier who would become Master Chief. The Halo team will talk about the importance of the film to the Halo saga as well as the making of the series.
"Halo 5: Guardians" somewhat created a stir when it was heard that there will be a PC version of the game. However, 343 Industries, the game developer reiterated that there are no plans to release the games for Windows 10, but only for Microsoft's game console Xbox One, reported IGN.
Frank O'Connor, franchise director at 343, took to social media to stress the consistent "noncommittal" response they have been giving for years whenever such question is brought up.
"I didn't "mention" it, I was asked a question and gave the same noncommittal answer I've been giving to that question for ten years," he tweeted on Oct. 23, 2015.
Millions of "Halo 5: Guardians" followers can comment, watch and participate virtually in the launch in "Halo 5: Live." The site enjoined everyone to be part of the event, that is said to be this year's biggest video game launch.
