Earlier news reports claimed that Queen Elizabeth is purportedly thinking of passing on the crown to Prince William instead of Prince Charles when she steps down.

This would make Kate Middleton the next Queen of the British Monarchy, instead of Camilla Parker Bowles.

OK Magazine's cover last September was headlined "Palace Confirms William & Kate, King & Queen!"

The cover went on to tease, "Queen Elizabeth Giving Up Throne After 63 Years," "Furious Prince Charles: The crown should be mine!" and "Inside The $1 Billion coronation."

"It has been a tough pill to swallow for Charles," OK Magazine then reported, as quoted by Celeb Dirty Laundry. "He has spent his whole life waiting to succeed his mother. He initially flew in to a rage, ranting that the throne is his. But, then he began to see her way of thinking."

The report claimed that Kate Middleton and Prince William's purported coronation will take place in April 2016. Queen Elizabeth will be celebrating her 90th birthday that month, and her retirement is purportedly expected to be announced soon after, if not during the celebration.

However, latest news rumors claimed that Camilla Parker Bowles is allegedly not taking matters sitting down.

"Judging by the Duchess of Cambridge's sudden weight loss, Camilla has managed to get into her head," a source reportedly told Globe Magazine, as quoted by CDL. "She told William's wife, 'This is my time and soon everyone will be calling me Queen Camilla - including YOU!"

According to the report, the stress and pressure of dealing and possibly competing with Camilla to be the next Queen of England may be taking its toll on Kate Middleton's health.

There have been news reports that Kate Middleton has been losing a lot of weight lately and some royal watchers connect it to the alleged friction between her and Prince William's step mother.

Prince Charles has been asked in the past about allegedly being impatient to succeed his mother as the head of the British Monarchy.

"Impatient?" Charles said in 2012, as previously quoted by Washington Post in a news report. "Me? What a thing to suggest! Yes, of course I am ... I'll run out of time soon. I shall have snuffed it if I'm not careful."
