Ciara was overwhelmed with the birthday party that she received from her beau earlier this week. The superhero-themed surprise celebration was organized by her boyfriend, Russell Wilson, who even used the real Batmobile that will appear in the upcoming "Batman V Superman" movie.
According to a report from Perez Hilton, the "I Bet" singer cried out of happiness during her extravagant 30th birthday bash.
"Ciara was overwhelmed with emotion and began to cry tears of joy," an insider shared.
Celebrities who attended Ciara's surprise birthday party included Beyonce, Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland and Lily Collins. Guests all wore their respective superhero costumes and partied at a Warner Brothers studio decorated under the same theme.
As for Ciara's friends who were not available that night, a compilation of video messages was prepared for the R&B diva. Well-wishers included Missy Elliot, Jennifer Hudson, Joe Jonas, Ludacris and Michael Strahan.
According to a report from Vogue, Russell Wilson began the surprise when he sent his girlfriend a catwoman costume to be worn that night.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback then picked her up in full Batman get-up, complete with the DC Comics' character's famous Batmobile. The vehicle is reportedly the same car used in the highly anticipated movie "Batman v Superman, " driven by lead star Ben Affleck.
Ciara's Instagram posts from her birthday party included photos with her celebrity friends, while other picutres showed her and Russell Wilson looking like characters straight out of "Batman V Superman."
In one photo, the songstress is seen leaning close to her boyfriend with a proud look on her face. "Batman to my rescue," she wrote alongside the shot.
Another post showed Russell Wilson standing beside the Batmobile before they went to the surprise bash. "Walking To Batman. #TheBestSurpriseBirthdayPartyEver!" Ciara wrote. "Babe @DangeRussWilson way to pull this off! I'm still in shock. You are my Batman."
