The Google Nexus 6P phablet is already available but some customers who had placed their orders experienced delay of shipment, which is official.
The company issued a statement apologizing for the delay of certain color and size configurations, and assured that the wait is worth it. It also indicated that shipment for Google Nexus 6P will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The company estimated that shipments will be between Nov. 7 to 14. Some customers expected the phablet to be shipped this week while others already have theirs last week. Those who ordered for the device will receive notification once it is already on its way. Google will give a $25 refund for the purchase as it understands the inconvenience of waiting.
The delay is not that long and Phandroid said it is nice for Google to give a courtesy refund for the Nexus 6P delay shipment.
According to 9to5Google, the company attributed the delay in not being able to keep up with the strong demand. Hence, it offers the affected customers the courtesy refund which will process when the phone is shipped. The Google Nexus 6P delay shipment is just about a week.
The Huawei-made Nexus 6P is sometimes compared to the iPhone 6 Plus. As per a review of the device by GSM Arena, its camera takes photos as good as 6 Plus does which level of quality is not heard of an Android device, especially Nexus. Those who gave up on Nexus are tempted to return with the current Google Nexus 6P.
So far, it received good reviews even from non-Nexus fans. The 5.7-inch phablet is said to look like a small deal but it is not.
Aside from a super fast performance because of its quad-core 1.55 GHz Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810, it sports a wide quad high definition display. The phablet is also budget-friendly, at $499, which is already big compared to the starting price of last year's iPhone 6 Plus of $649.
