A stunt pulled by topless women harassing Bobby Flay, who is now rumored to be dating Giada de Laurentiis, of reportedly being a cheater was allegedly the brainchild of his ex-wife, "Law & Order: SVU" actress Stephanie March.
"The semi-naked ladies surprised the restauratuer at the New York City Wine and Food Festival where they paraded round with the word 'cheater' painted across their bare chests," Daily Mail reported.
"But the 'desnudas' - a Spanish word meaning naked - are not giving away the game as to who hired them for the stunt to humiliate Flay," it added.
Now, Stephanie March's name has been dragged into the cheating controversy as she was tagged as the one who hired the topless ladies into harassing Bobby Flay, who's now rumored to be shacking up with Giada De Laurentiis.
The rumor about the actress hiring the desnudas was buttressed by the interview that the ladies' manager made with the NY Post where he confessed that the stunt was paid for.
According to the New York Post, he was paid by somebody to let the topless ladies gatecrash Bobby Flay's event.
"Last week, a mystery client hired the women to humiliate celebrity chef Bobby Flay at a New York City Wine and Food Festival event by parading as protesters with the word 'cheater' painted across their bare chests," it said.
Chris Oliveri, the manager of the topless ladies, confessed that it's true but he can't reveal the identity of their benefactor because as he said, "I was paid a lot of money not to say anything."
But the NY Post reached out to Stephanie March's lawyer, Deborah Lans, who denied that the "Law & Order: SVU" actress was behind the stunt to accuse Bobby Flay of being a cheater.
"I'm quite sure Stephanie had nothing to do with this," the lawyer said. "My personal speculation is that it could have been any of the disaffected people in [Flay's] world."
