Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour was included in Billboard's shortlist for the Top Tour finalists for 2015, as Calvin Harris' girlfriend has convinced Ricky Martin to join her performance in Miami, Florida.
A report from the magazine revealed that Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour will join One Direction and rock legends, The Rolling Stones, as the finalists for the prestigious plum.
The winner will be announced on Nov. 19 during the 2015 Billboard Touring Awards.
"5 Seconds of Summer, Ed Sheeran and Eric Church are finalists in the Breakthrough category, while Austin City Limits, Coachella and Outside Lands are contenders for Top Festival," it said. "Madison Square Garden (NYC), Manchester Arena (Manchester, England) and O2 Arena (London) are contenders for Top Arena."
Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour was also included in the Top Draw category for the awards. The only criteria here is the number of attendance for her performances.
It seems Calvin Harris' girlfriend is pulling out all stops to make her 1989 Tour a memorable one for fans, although it wouldn't hurt a bit if she wins any of the plum for the 2015 Billboard Touring Awards.
"Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour guests have been a very eclectic assortment," said Elle. "And last night in Miami-for 1989's birthday, no less-Taylor added three more curveballs. She sang with Ricky Martin! Hung with Dwyane Wade! And performed with Pitbull?!!! Boyfriend Calvin Harris was also there."
According to Pop Sugar, Calvin Harris' girlfriend Taylor Swift has enlisted more than 50 artists and athletes for her 1989 World Tour.
Among the guests were Miranda Lambert, Ellie Goulding, Kobe Bryant, Keith Urban, Charli XCX, Nelly, Steven Tyler, Leona Lewis, Mick Jagger, Allison Krauss, Wiz Khalifa, Avril Lavigne, Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake, Beck, John Legend, Alanis Morissette, Ellen DeGeneres and St. Vincent, the girlfriend of Tay-Tay's BFF Cara Delevingne.
