BFFs Cara Delevingne and Rihanna are starring in a new sci-fi film. The "Paper Towns" cast member is reportedly the lead star for the upcoming movie that is set to be shown two years from now.
In a report by People, director Luc Besson has confirmed that the "Diamond" hit maker will be part of the cast for "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets"
"RIHANNA is in VALERIAN!!!!! ...and she has a big part!! I'm Sooo excited!!!" he said in his Instagram account.
Though there is no confirmation yet what her role will be, things will surely be exciting on the set of the movie as the "We Found Love" singer will be sharing it gal pal and British supermodel Cara Delevingne.
Cara Deleivngne will play the lead female role with Dane DeHaan and Clive Owen as his leading men.
The film was adapted from the graphic novel of the same title and was written by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres.
"Pan" star Cara Delevingne's upcoming film starrer is set in the 28th century. The story revolves around the time-traveling agent Valerian played by Dane DeHaan and his partner Laureline (Cara Delevingne) who were sent to investigate a galactic empire, Variety said in a report.
The "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" is set to hit the big screen on July 21, 2017.
This will be Rihanna's third movie after playing a stint on "Battleship," and "Annie," a report from Vogue said.
On the other hand, the "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" will just be one of the many movies under Cara Delevingne's acting credentials.
Recently, she played the lead role for John Green's movie dapation of "Paper Towns" alongside Natt Wolf. She has also starred in "The Face of an Angel" and "Pan."
Cara Delevingne is also set to hit the big screen with the movie "Suicide Squad."
