Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting's divorce was announced back in July, and now new details about the alleged reason why "The Big Bang Theory" actress and the tennis player's marriage crumbled emerged.

According to Page Six, Kaley Cuoco gave her husband an ultimatum that she's going to file for divorce over his alleged addiction to painkillers.

"He went to rehab, but when he came out he went missing for a period of time . . . like four days," the source claimed.

"He had some drinking issues in college and he was doing painkillers as early as 2013 at least," the source added.

Us Weekly claimed that Ryan Sweeting got hooked on painkillers following his surgery from a tennis injury last year.

The tennis player previously had a record back in college when he was arrested for drug possession.

Kaley Cuoco allegedly tried to be supportive at first but then her husband has resorted to lying about the painkillers, which forced her to file for divorce.

"She supported him but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober," the insider alleged. "He'd tell her he was working on it and instead go get wasted."

A rep for the couple confirmed the divorce filing to People in a statement which read, "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

The tennis player then reportedly filed for spousal support from Kaley Cuoco, who scored big by signing a $1 million per episode extension to reprise her role as Penny in "The Big Bang Theory." Ryan Sweeting, meanwhile, is struggling with his comeback to tennis.

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting, meanwhile, have not issued a statement on his alleged addiction to painkillers which was reportedly the reason for the divorce.
