Stephen Curry is currently on the warpath to prove critics wrong on last year's MVP season.
The Golden State Warriors superstar is having a career year so far as he averages 39.3 points, 7.3 assists and 5.7 rebounds in three victories at the start of the NBA 2015-2016 season. That's way above his career averages of 21.1 points, 6.9 dimes and 4.1 rebounds.
In fact, the 6-3 point guard was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for his amazing performance.
"Curry finished the week with 118 points, joining Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West and Michael Jordan as the only players ever to score that many points through the season's first three games and the first to do so since Jordan in 1989-90," said NBA.com.
But what could be the secret to Stephen Curry's deflated stats for the Golden State Warriors this NBA 2015-2016 season?
Perhaps a good chunk of credit goes to wife Ayesha Curry's, who makes sure that her man only eats good and healthy food, cooking.
Ayesha Curry, in fact, has her own YouTube channel called "Little Lights of Me" where she shares her favorite cooking recipes as well as her thoughts. Apart from that, she's working on her own cookbook titled "The Seasoned Life."
In an interview with E! News, Stephen Curry's wife and the mother-of-two shared her recipe for Gluten-Free Persimmon Cookies.
"This is one of my all-time favorite recipes that, to me, tastes just like fall," she said. "It covers all the bases with its fragrant flavor and beautiful orange color. Best of all, they make the perfect post-game snack. Stephen loves them, and win or lose, I know he'll have something to enjoy on the car ride home."
If Ayesha Curry continues cooking like this, Stephen Curry might just win his second consecutive MVP trophy and also a repeat championship for the Golden State Warriors.
