Frank Ocean might just be trolling fans regarding the release his new album, "Boy's Don't Cry," as he's reportedly working on a collaboration with SebastiAN.

But new details claimed that Frank Ocean has been working with DJ SebastiAn for new tracks in his album.

Pedro Winter, the owner of Ed Banger records, told Les in Rocks, per Music Times, that their artist SebastiAn has apparently been collaborating with Frank Ocean on new materials.

"SebastiAn just finished production on a few pieces for Frank Ocean-a truly exciting collaboration-and then he will finally be able to turn to his second album," he reportedly said.

However because of the attention his statement generated on what people believed was Frank Ocean's new album, the music producer reneged on his statement.

In a statement to The Fader, Pedro Winter said, "SebastiAn met Frank Ocean few times, that's all we know. For further infos please contact Frank's management."

It's highly unlikely that Pedro Winter would lie regarding the collaboration between Frank Ocean and SebastiAN. It's possible that the two have been working in secret to release a new album, but the music producer jumped the gun with the announcement.

Now, whether the new materials would be part of Frank Ocean's new album, "Boy's Don't Cry," or a new production altogether is still up in the air.

Frank Ocean is not above trolling fans.

Just recently, the singer dropped an old song on Spotify which fooled fans into thinking that he's got new material coming up.

"First, the promised release month of July passed with nary a new album from the reigning champ of artful mood music," said Complex addressing Frank Ocean. "Then, your own brother devised a simple act of trolling so frustrating that, quite frankly, the majority of Earth's population is still seeking appropriate coping mechanisms."

If anything, Complex added, the stunt that Frank Ocean pulled only proved that the hype to the new album was prompted by fans who don't know his music at all.
