Lil Wayne's net worth seems to be going down after his sex tape scandal. According to a report from TMZ, the "Lollipop" rapper's properties are being confiscated by police.

Law enforcement personnel came to the hip-hop star's Miami beach house earlier this week in line with a legal case filed against him. Lil Wayne was reportedly in Los Angeles when the cops visited.

Police detailed that they were under court orders to sequester properties that represent Lil Wayne's net worth. The confiscation in line with a complaint filed by a jet leasing company named Signature Group.

The "Young Money" star was accused by the said company of owing them up to $2 million. The judgement was released last September, which is on top of $200,000 lawyer's fees also being charged to the dreadlocked rapper.

Security staff at Lil Wayne's mansion prohibited the cops from entering. However, legal documents detailed that personnel from Miami-Dade County Sheriff's office are allowed to break the mansion's locks and doors to obtain the rapper's seizable assets.

The outstanding money being demanded from the rapper by Signature Group makes it seem like Lil Wayne's net worth is going down. Unfortunately for the rapper, his current financial issues came amid reports of his recent sex tape scandal, which his legal team is focusing on.

In Flex We Trust was one of the first to report about Lil Wayne's sex tape, which showed him having a threesome with two women.

The rapper allegedly did not know that he was being filmed in the video, which first appeared last October in a website called Hollywood Street Kings.

The said webpage has been slammed by Lil Wayne's legal team with a cease-and-desist order.

"We hereby demand that you immediately cease the use, exploitation and/or distribution of the video and that you deliver all copies, including electronic copies, of same to us or destroy such copies immediately and that you desist from this or any other infringement of Mr. Carter's rights in the future," the demand read.

According to a related report from Fameolous, the two women in Lil Wayne's sex tape are escorts from Canada named Paris Richard and Tanya "Barbie" Lieder.

Prior to the release of Lil Wayne's sex tape, the people behind the video allegedly approached different porn-publishing companies who want to officially carry the scandal.
