Johnny said that he always stressed more on the dialogues, rather than worrying about all other direction details. Depp said he cannot stand himself on the screen as he hates doing that.
Johnny also said in the interaction that his entire focus is on the character development and that he tries to make a connect with the audience in the early minutes of the movie. He said it was quite a challenge to change appearance and wear prosthetics, but was confident enough to carry it well. Depp added that there is a vast difference in playing a real life character and a fictional character.
