"Victoria's Secret" Fashion Show was a huge success with the presence of famous celebrities, top models and versatile singers and created a buzz, according to The New York Times.
Ari Emanuel, the co-chief executive of WME/IMG and Mark Shapiro, the chief content officer of IMG took their front row seats. The New York Times said Emanuel and Shapiro's presence was worth noticing since they were from WWE/IMG which owns or operates New York, London and Milan fashion weeks. Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner were at the front row to cheer up for their daughter, Kendall Jenner.
Kendall Jenner, a top American fashion model, made her debut in the show and walked the ramp twice. She first wore a hand-painted silk corset and ring-back thong with a flowing skirt. Then the reality show star dazzled the crowd in an outfit studded with Swarovski crystals and mint green puffed sleeves. Gigi Hadid, also an American model, made a debut in the fashion show for the brand during the "Pink and Exotic Butterflies" portions of the show.
According to USAToday, the event showcased 75 costumes with subsections named like " Ice angels, Boho psychedelic, Exotic butterflies, Fireworks and Pink USA." The fashion models wore different outfits like rainbow shades and encrusted bras and panties ranging from Pink line ribbed sports looks to jewel-encrusted nude bodysuits.
The attire donned by the models illustrated various themes like "The Wild West motif," "The silver one piece," and "Helmet simulating an astronaut's cosmic wears."
The other models that walked the ramp, in different styles of Lingerie collection, were the most famous Victoria's Secret top models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinslo, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge , quoted Forbes.com. The models sizzled the ramp when Selena Gomez, The Weeknd and Ellie Goulding, sung hit tracks from their famous albums.
The Fashion show finale was a lingerie show under the "Fireworks" subsection that included LED wings and a $2 million "Fireworks Fantasy Bra" crafted by Mouawad. The heavy-in-weight bra, with studded diamonds, blue topaz and yellow sapphires, represented the show as over the top, flashy and fantastical, Forbes.com reported.
The Fashion show will be broadcasted on CBS, Tuesday, December 8 at 9 p.m. central time, according to USAToday.
