‘The Affair’ Season 2, Episode 8 Spoilers: Can Noah Fend Off Adoring Female Fans? Popularity Getting To His Head?

Noah Solloway soaking all the admiration from female fans who seem to be throwing themselves up at him, as if his problems with women are not enough. In the episode 8 spoilers for "The Affair" season 2, Helen points out that the book author seems to be letting popularity get to his head.

The teaser clip shows Noah during a book signing when a fan approaches and asks, "Would you make it out to Daisy?"

"Sure," he replies.

But then the female fan slips out a number which he quickly stuffs somewhere.

Helen comes in and demands that Noah give out the digits but the book author feigns innocence as he says, "What number?"

In another scene, Helen and Noah can be seen drinking at a bar and she tells him to chill.

"You need to be very careful, you are acting like my father," she warns.

Allison also surprised Noah by visiting his office and contacting him through video call. A surprised Noah, asks, "Is that my office?"

"Yes, aren't you excited?"

"I am, but what are you doing on my desk?"

Then when Noah reads a scathing review on the paper and he lashes out at the critic as he confronts him at a bar.

"What business of you tearing down other people's work?" he says, before taking a swing and missing badly.

But instead of getting angry at her fiancé, Allison appears to be impressed as she reads the news about him punching a reviewer. She says, "Congratulations, you are now the bad boy of the literary world."

Noah can only grin.

The synopsis teases some spoilers for episode 8 of "The Affair" season 2. It reads, "Helen is bewildered by Whitney's future plans; Helen surprises Noah with a difficult admission; Noah faces increased temptations when his fame escalates."
