Johnny Depp's ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis, has allegedly dissed his present wife, Amber Heard.
According to a report, Vanessa scoffed at Amber Heard's statement that she's allegedly having difficulty landing "substantial" roles because she's "sexually viable."
"I wish I didn't have to pick between being seen as sexually viable and something more substantial," Johnny Depp's wife, who recently starred in Magic Mike XXL, reportedly told Marie Claire.
Amber Heard's statement earned various reactions from Hollywood watchers.
"There are plenty of amazing sexy actresses who are taken very seriously in Hollywood and even win awards, it just takes talent to have both," Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote.
"Johnny Depp's much more age appropriate ex, Vanessa Paradis is an example of an actress with more than her fair share of sex appeal and has won multiple awards for her music and her filmwork."
"We're pretty sure every time Amber Heard suggests that she is trying to add depth to the brainless roles, Vanessa Paradis rolls her eyes just a little bit harder," the report added.
Is Vanessa Paradis scoffing at the statement of Johnny Depp's present wife?
Sources close to the French actress are yet to dish out about her reaction to Amber Heard's statement.
However, it has earlier been speculated that there is tension between Johnny Depp's ex-wife and his current main squeeze.
"Amber Heard has nailed down Johnny Depp in a way that Vanessa Paradis never could," Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote in an earlier report.
"Vanessa and Johnny's relationship was plagued with rumors of his cheating - first with Amber herself while they were shooting The Rum Diary and later with flight attendant Julie Ellis who is his 'personal' flight attendant."
Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp have been together for 14 years before calling it quits in 2012. The two have two children together - Lily Rose and Jack.
In his interview in Extra in 2010, the "Pirates of the Carribean" actor explained why he and Vanessa have not tied the knot despite being together for almost a decade and a half.
"If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not," the actor said, as quoted by Hello Magazine."But the thing is, I'd be so scared of ruining her last name! She's got such a good last name."
