Fashion designer and wife of celebrated footballer, David Beckham was criticized for casting super skinny models for her Summer and Spring latest collection at the "New York Fashion Week," reported Independent.com.

Victoria's huge fan following took out their indignation on "Twitter" and "Facebook," saying that the fashion show was a parade of skeletons. She faced criticism mainly because of casting a teenage girl named Peyton Knight, who looked unhealthy during the show.

According to the Express.com, one of Victoria's many fans suggested the super-model on "Twitter" that she should check for proper nourishment before making the models walk the ramp. Another fan criticized Victoria and requested her not to starve her models for walking down the catwalks for success.

Victoria defended herself during an interview. "They're young, they're thin, but that doesn't mean they're ill," reported The Daily Mail. She also confirmed that the Peyton,17, has also been employed by other agencies during the Fashion Week and that the teenager was in a perfect health state.

Mrs. Beckham expressed her disappointment on social media by saying that sometimes people show their mean side on such platforms and just want to belittle others, reported the Independent.com.

The model also emphasized her ability to take constructively which helps a person really ponder over oneself and grow accordingly, during an interview with The Telegraph. She said that sometimes such negative remarks help her learn from her mistakes and improve her repertoire.
