"I questioned whether it was appropriate for me to step up because I'm feeling the pain and can't get out of my own feelings," he said via Garo Sero.

"But I concluded that there was serious misinformation about the deceased, and I am writing this statement to set the facts straight."

The husband, whose name was not made public, said he met Kim through an acquaintance in November 2024.

The couple legally married in the United States on January 12, 2025, in a private ceremony with only witnesses present.

However, they eventually had the marriage annulled because of the speedy nature of the relationship, long-distance complications, and differences in their personalities.

Denial of Assault Allegations

He denied physical abuse, asserting that the design of his American home would have made it difficult for such incidents to go unnoticed.

"The current house I live in, here in America, is a quiet apartment complex where the soundproofing is weak at best," he said.

"If there had been an assault, the floor below would instantly submit a report."

He also pointed out that Kim had come to visit him three times in America, arguing that if she were being mistreated, she wouldn't continue to make the journey.

"They said there are photos of physical abuse, and if they have them, I encourage them to make the photos public," he added. "I will submit myself to police investigation if you think it's necessary."

Rebutting Blackmail and Surveillance Allegations

In response to claims that they used to monitor Kim's movements and social media, he said their relationship featured "mutual transparency" because of the long-distance nature.
"We didn't password-protect each other's cellphones and social media accounts," he said of their relationship. "

Kim Sae Ron borrowed my phone to call people multiple times, and we had no hesitation about sharing our passwords with each other to build trust as a married couple.

He said he also had a written agreement confirming this arrangement.
The husband also denied claims that he blackmailed Kim into marriage by stating she was pregnant. "She was not pregnant," he said.

Threats From a Caller Without a Name

He also alleged that he was threatened anonymously by someone posing as a cousin of Kim.

On March 18, someone he didn't know phoned him and threatened assault and blackmail. But, after mentioning that he was planning to take legal action, the person stopped engaging.

"I will demand, if necessary, that a fair and fair police inspection be carried out," he said. "Stop spreading lies about a deceased person's private life immediately."

The statement is in reaction to rumors about Kim's personal life that recently circulated online, including allegations that she was blackmailed into marriage and pressured into an abortion.

The dispute has sparked a broad conversation among fans and the general public.

The first success that made Kim Sae Ron well known to the public was the film The Man From Nowhere, followed by the drama The Great Witch Mirror, and last but not least, the horror drama that is most popular about the impact of this young artist.

She passed away earlier this year. Her family has not responded to her husband's statement.
