Although Kanye West's new album, "Swish," has no release date yet, he has a sure buyer in "Pineapple Express" star Seth Rogen.
The comedian was a guest on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and recounted his crazy encounter with Kanye West.
Apparently, the two met at a hotel lobby and Kanye West's invited him back into his van so they could listen to his new album, "Swish."
"He didn't have the lyrics recorded, just beats. And he went through an entire album, like seventeen tracks, playing the beats on a laptop, and then rapping the songs," Seth Rogen said.
Even if he described Kanye West's new album, "Swish," as "dope," the encounter quickly got awkward.
"It's bizarre, because you don't know where to look! It's like at a strip club, you're like 'I don't know where to look, do I look in his eyes, is that creepy?'"
Speaking to Real 92.3, per Daily Mail, Kanye West said of his new album, "Swish," "I don't want to overly describe it or overly try to hype it up."
"It's sounding good. It's like a sonic painting, and it gets better and better every week," he continued.
But Kanye West was the first to admit that the work on his new album, "Swish," has been "slow."
"I've had a while to work on it," he explained. "I separated with a couple of the tracks that were on my album that I gave to other people."
On the difference between "Yeezus" and "Swish," he said there's quite a few.
"My last album was a protest of music," Kanye West said. "This album's just embracing the music, embracing joy, and just being of service to the people.
Kanye West has been quoted as saying that "Swish" would take two years to make, and won't probably be released for another year maybe.
