Jon Stewart Does A Cameo Role In 'Gravity Falls';First After His Retirement From 'The Daily Show'!

Just after signing a four year deal with HBO, Jon Stewart, ex-The Daily Show Host, has again made it to the headlines. The comedian and television personality will be seen doing a cameo role in the Season 2 of Disney XD's "Gravity Falls," Hollywood cartoon television series, according to Franchise Herald. The new episode "Weirdmaggedon" from the series will be aired on November 23, 2015. In his short role, Jon will play a role of a kitty judge named "Shwartstein."

According to USAToday.com, the executive producer and creator of the animated series, Alex Hirsch talked highly about Stewart. He revealed that Stewart was considered as the first choice for the role. Alex also made a confession that he wanted to cast Jon for his series since he appeared on "The Daily show" in 2013.

"Jon and I talked in the show's coffee room for 15 minutes, and he told me he loved watching 'Gravity Falls' with his kids and even does a Grunkle impression around the house," Alex said, as quoted by Franchise Herald. He talked about his obsession about the night show during his college days.The creator also revealed about Jon's character as the judge which often gets hairballs but doesn't let it hamper his work.

The latest installment from the cartoon series promises to be full of excitement where the psyche villain and his accomplices capture the lead character "Mabel Pines" and put her into a prison bubble. The story takes an interesting take on the current situation when "Dipper Pines," Mabel's twin brother rescues her with the help of his buddies.

The producer of the game has also revealed that this season will be the last for one of the key characters in the animated series. Jason Ritter, Hollywood actor, has lent his voice for "Dipper Pines" and Kristen Schaal, actress and comedian, has voiced for "Mabel Pines."
