"Batman V Superman" star Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have yet to file their divorce papers months after their split. In fact, the former couple will be spending the holidays together with their kids.

"Jen and Ben are figuring out right now how they can best spend the holidays together," People magazine reported.

Jennifer Garner wanted to tag along for the holiday trip "for the kids' sake," said the report.

On Saturday, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted bonding with their three kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel at a bakeshop over the weekend.

E! News said that the couple has made a conscious decision to always be there for the kids despite the divorce, regardless of how they feel about each other.

"They are a unit," the source told the website. "They are all about the kids and making sure they are okay. They are committed to parenting together."

Their divorce statement read, "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

Later, rumors about Ben Affleck's affair with the nanny, Christine Ouzounian, emerged and cited as the reason for the split, along with his gambling addiction which has derailed the marriage.

Although Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have yet to file the divorce papers, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are getting back together.

"Despite the announcement, the movie stars will not immediately file their divorce petitions. Affleck and Garner are first working privately with a mediator to negotiate settlement terms. It is expected, however, that they will share custody of their kids," Gossip Cop said.
