Jeremy Lin

The rumors are again flying about Jeremy Trade being shipped out by the Charlotte Hornets to the juggernaut team, Golden State Warriors.

But there seems to be no ground to his rumor as Linsanity seems to have found a home at the Time Warner Cable arena, playing for a home crowd appreciative of his efforts.

The rumor about Jeremy Lin being traded to the Charlotte Hornets seemed to have started with the interview he gave with the NY Post where he revealed that he entertained rejoining the Golden State Warriors during the free agency season.

But that thought was quickly discarded.

"I just felt like they had something great going there, and if I went there, it would be a very limited role. I felt like, 'I'm 27 now.' I want to find where I can be as big a part of a successful team as I can," he said.

And that's why Jeremy Lin signed with the Charlotte Hornets, even with just a little over $2 million a year for two years.

"We had a few teams on our list we thought would be good," Linsanity said of playing for the Hornets. "Funny how God works things out. Charlotte wasn't on the top-six list, but I ended up here. That's how it ends up for me. It always ends up the way I never imagined. Ever. I wasn't surprised. I'll be surprised when things are pretty smooth and clear."

Jeremy Lin's play for the Charlotte Hornets has been very good so far, as he averages 11.5 points, 2.9 dimes and 2.8 rebounds with 16.47 PER in just 22.9 minutes per game. That's a far cry from Linsanity days, of course, when the 6-3 point guard was averaging 20 points and nearly 10 assists a game.

Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan also heaped high praise on the play of Jeremy Lin as the former Chicago Bulls superstar described the signing of Linsanity as one of the squad's greatest accomplishments this past offseason.
