Farrah Abraham news reported that the "Teen Mom" star is promoting adoption. According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the young single mom also wants to bring home an orphan someday.

The MTV reality star recently posted an Instagram photo with her six-year-old daughter, Sophia. In the post, Farrah Abraham explained how she grew up around orphans.

"Let's embrace the power and beauty that family brings with adoption," she said.

"There are over 145 million orphans in the world. I grew up with all my neighbors being adopted and in foster care[.] I've seen it mean the world to them to have loving and caring homes 'a family.'"

Farrah Abraham then made news by admitting that she plans to adopt in the future.

"I hope soon Sophia and I can make a world of difference by bringing home a baby brother or sister," she said.

"I always have been passionate about adoption as it means so much to me, my family, my community, my church and my heart thank you to all the parents who have adopted and to all the amazing children with their loving families."

Prior to announcing her plans to adopt, Farrah Abraham recently made news after revealing that her parents physically abused her when she was a child.

According to a recent report from Us Weekly, the outspoken TV personality guested on Brandi Glanville's podcast "Unfiltered," where she shared that she used to get beat up by her now-divorced parents, Debra Danielson and Michael Abraham.

"My parents [even] got put into jail, both my mom and my dad," Farrah Abraham narrated.

"At that time we really didn't [have a relationship] because of some of the abusive things that had happened."

Perez Hilton also reported about Farrah Abraham's history with child abuse, which she said she has already forgiven her parents from.

"My family and I have such a different dynamic now," she said.

"We've talked through a lot of our abuse. Not everyone's a perfect parent, but we do learn and we grow from that."

"I'm not trying to be harsh on my family because it does make them sad to think back about how they used to be and some of their choices," Farrah Abraham added.
