Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott supposedly faked their 2014 cheating scandal that earned them a reality show. According to a report from Perez Hilton, the actor's ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, even has proof to back the allegations.
The controversial couple made news last year when Dean McDermott allegedly cheated on the former "Beverly Hills 90210" actress with a faceless woman named Emily Goodhand. The public's interest in the scandal even led to them starring in a Lifetime TV reality series entitled "True Tori," which documented their marital woes.
However, Dean McDermott's ex-wife pointed out several theories to prove that the entire affair was just made up. Mary Jo Eustace was even supposed to reveal the details in her memoir "Scared Wheatless," but chose to remove them later on.
One of the proofs that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott only faked the affair was how the alleged mistress could not even be tracked by anyone. With the number of paramours all selling out celebrity affair stories to tabloids, insiders have questioned why Emily Goodhand never exposed herself.
Mary Jo Eustace's teen son with Dean McDermott is also reportedly suspicious about the authenticity of the cheating allegations.
Another issue that was featured in "True Tori" was Dean McDermott's stint in rehab. However, Wetpaint reported that the actor only laughed at Mary Jo Eustace when she asked about his treatment.
"[Dean McDermott said] everything is fine," an insider revealed.
"Dean pretended to be checked into a long-term facility, but instead he was at a beachfront home in Malibu getting some R&R."
"It was all part of his plan," the insider added.
Insiders claim that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott has allegedly been struggling to provide for their four young children. Financial difficulties eventually drove them to fabricate the cheating scandal and rehab treatment for reality TV.
"Dean and Tori would lie about everything in their marriage to fool the world and make money," an insider said.
