From a cast of 25, the number of actors for "Scream Queens" pilot season was only down to a handful. Now, Ryan Murphy teased spoilers for the show's season 2 as he said that the remaining survivors may not be out of the woods just yet.
In a Q&A session at the Fright Fest in New York, as shared by Latin Post, Ryan Murphy said that he already pitched a story to Fox for the second season of "Scream Queens."
Teasing spoilers for "Scream Queens" season 2, the creator said, "Everybody loves the idea of it, and the conceit is three or four of the cast members [from season 1] survive."
"In the second season, the survivors go off to a new venue, a horror based venue, and then they have to fight a new killer, a new villain, a new threat," he added.
In the same Q&A session, Ryan Murphy also revealed that they would add 10 new characters for "Scream Queens" season. Lady Gaga, who has expressed intentiont to join the series, might make an appearance and also a popular male singer.
The show's outcome was consistent with Ryan Murphy's previous interview with Zap2it back in June when he said that only four of the characters would live past the pilot.
"If you're dead, you're dead and only four of them live," Murphy said. "The second season is the four remaining survivors playing the same characters going to a new 'Scream Queens' venue. Then we bring in other people and the death party starts again."
Actor Oliver Hudson, meanwhile, told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" that he believes the theme for second season would be "summer camp."
"I have an idea. It's scary. [But] I'm scared to reveal anything, [as] we don't even know if it's gonna be picked up. But whatever. Think summer camp," he said.
Watch out for more spoilers for "Scream Queens" season 2 which will be published here when they come along.
