Lindsay Lohan fans reacted to her movie comeback. The support comes after the "Mean Girls" star previously said that she is set on reviving her career.
According to a report from People, an Instagram photo announcing Lindsay Lohan's movie comeback was posted by the former Disney star last weekend.
"My first day on my new film! Will be sending a sneak peak of my character this week #theshadowwithin," she wrote alongside the on-set selfie.
Fans then commented on her Instagram post to show their support.
"I can't wait to see it," wrote one follower. "Keep the good work going."
"Lindsay you're so beautiful," said another fan. "I've loved all your movies and I will continue to."
"The Shadow Within" is Lindsay Lohan's movie comeback after two years. Her last projects were a 2013 film entitled "The Canyons" and Lifetime TV's Elizabeth Taylor biopic "Liz and Dick."
Radar Online previously reported about how the once troubled movie star is focused on reviving her career. After overcoming her alleged battles with alcohol and drugs, as well as run-ins with the law, the former child star is reportedly set on staying on the right track.
"Lindsay is doing better than she has in years," an insider shared. "She is determined to be a movie star again."
Lindsay Lohan temporarily moved to London last year, where she starred in a West End production entitled "Speed The Plow." It was during her time in Europe when the redhead actress was reportedly able to clean up her act.
Even though she previously hinted about relocating to London, Lindsay Lohan eventually decided to move back to the US to do movies again.
"Lindsay plans to return home to her family in New York for a bit and is then heading to L.A. because she has three big movies that she is getting ready to star in," an insider said right before Lindsay Lohan's return to the US.
