Chris Brown finally spoke up about Karrueche Tran. According to a report from Design and Trend, the R&B star said he wants his next girlfriend to be "more private."

The "Liquor" singer was dumped by the aspiring model-actress earlier this year upon discovering that he fathered a child with a former music video vixen named Nia Guzman. Since then, Chris Brown has been more focused on his daughter and career, while Karrueche Tran has been trying to build a career away from her famous ex-boyfriend's shadow.

Chris Brown recently guested in Hot 97 to promote his new album "Royalty," named after his one-year-old daughter. During the interview, the Grammy winner talked about how his relationship with Karrueche Tran was too open to the public.

"I think for me a public relationship is only good for certain things," Chris Brown said.

"It's only good for people's approval. It's not what I'm trying to do."

"I'm not going to get with a girl just because society says 'Look how cute they look and this and this,'" he scoffed.

The singer-songwriter went on to describe what he wants from his next girlfriend, where Chris Brown seemingly accused Karrueche Tran of being hungry for attention.

"I think if I were to ever settle down and focus on a relationship with another female [,] there would be certain things she would have to understand," Chris Brown explained.

"My daughter comes first. My career comes second.

"She would have to be stable and secure enough with herself to be like 'Ok, cool. We know the common goal. I know this person loves me, and I don't need to get Instagram followers. I don't need to get a candid shot with this person to prove that I'm affectionate' or whatever it is," he detailed.

In another report from Urban Islandz, Chris Brown also addressed Karrueche Tran's statements about how he supposedly damaged her career. The former "BET 106 and Park" host previously admitted that being an ex-girlfriend of a famous person has caused people to not take her seriously, something that Chris Brown said he never intended.

"I am going to be honest with you, if it did hinder anybody's job, anything that I have done with anybody, I make my mistakes and I am totally in acceptance of any wrongs that I have done," he clarified.

"But I just can only wish and hope for the best for that person and everybody else whoever I've messed up their lives or jobs or hinder, whatever the case may be... It's just more blessings and success to them."
