Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow may be divorced this year but the ex-couple continued to buck the trend as they clearly have a lot of love for each other despite not living together anymore. In fact, the actress has given her contribution for Coldplay's new album as she wrote a line for one track, which says, "How come things move on/How come cars don't slow."

In an interview with Q magazine, as shared by NME, Chris Martin revealed the process in producing the new album for Coldplay called, "A Head Full of Dreams."

"She came up with the idea so I said, 'Is there any chance you'd sing that line cos it's your idea' Like any human, she was like, 'I can't do that! I'm not a professional!'" he said.

In the end, however, the "Iron Man" actress did sing the line. Apart from Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin also convinced their children Apple and Moses, as well as Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy to sing a few lines in Coldplay's new album.

Although Gwyneth Paltrow may protest about not being a professional, recording a song is not new for her.

She did a duet with Huey Lewis to remake the Smokey Robinson classic, "Cruisin,'" which peaked at the top of US Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks, Australian Singles Chart and New Zealand Singles Chart.

"Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives. What I am trying to learn in my life is the value of every human. Inclusiveness is the key thing, and it all comes from that 'Guest House' poem," Chris Martin explained.

Previously, Chris Martin hinted that Coldplay's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams," might be its last.

"It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book or something like that," he told BBC 1 Radio.

"Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something," explained. "I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."

Coldplay's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams," will be released on Dec. 4.
