After pining for children for so long, Anne Hathaway has been confirmed to be pregnant. And the "Dark Knight Rises" actress showed off her baby bump when she was snapped in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

"Wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a black T-shirt, her bump was clearly visible beneath her cropped sweater as she shopped with husband Adam Shulman," Daily Mail. "Anne wore her hair slicked back in a bun, with a pair of dark sunglasses over her eyes for the outing in Beverly Hills on Wednesday."

According to a source from E! News, "Anne is in her second trimester and feeling great!"

The rumors about the baby bump surrounding Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman started at the London premiere of "The Intern" back in September.

Speaking to E! News in 2012, Anne Hathaway said that she's the only one among her peers who's not a mother, and she hopes to "join the ranks soon."

"I really want to have a baby, and my husband and I are like, 'Where are we gonna live?'" she said, adding that she talked with husband Adam Shulman, whom she married in 2012, how they are going to protect their child from the paparazzi.

Also back in 2013, Anne Hathaway told Vogue, per SJ-R, that she would be the happiest girl sporting a baby bump.

"Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely," she said. "I think about it all the time, though it's a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I'll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can't wait to meet them."

Movies will have to take a back seat as Anne Hathaway scales down on her commitments due to the baby bump. The actress is expected to deliver in spring.
