After her divorce with Chad Kroeger, Avril Lavigne is definitely moving on from the breakup by getting busy with her music career. And while things are looking good, a new report claims that the rumors involving her and Ryan Cabrera are completely false.

The Canadian singer, "Hello Kitty" hitmaker Avril Lavigne, is now moving on from her divorce with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger as she gets busy with a collaboration with Nick Carter. The new track is entitled "Get Over Me."

Former Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter revealed in an interview that he has teamed up with the "Complicated" hitmaker after a short meeting.

"I talked to Avril about doing collaboration together, and we became friends - we were on tour together with the Backstreet Boys," the 35-year-old singer told Acesshobiz through a report from Business Standard. "She was into the idea, and she really liked it. She liked the song that I had written, and she put her vocals on the song, and it was really cool."

Avril Lavigne's feature in Nick Carter's song "Get Over Me" is part of the singer's third solo album "All American."

Meanwhile, a report claimed that Avril Lavigne is dating her pal Ryan Cabrera shortly after she announced her divorce with Chad Kroeger.

The "True" singer and the "Happy Ending" songstress were reportedly living together in one roof and have sparked dating rumors after they were photographed buying pumpkin patches together in Beverly Hills.

But a report from E! Online revealed that the two musicians are just friends and that Avril Lavigne welcomed her pal into her home after he broke up with girlfriend Katie Krause.

Ryan Cabrera split with his girlfriend because of his alleged excessive partying.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger, meanwhile, decided to get a divorce after almost two years of being married. The former couple wed in France after they dated for a year.
