It has been rumored that Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev will be back on "The Vampire Diaries." Meanwhile, the hit drama series' other cast members are reportedly getting tired of Ian Somerhalder's diva attitude.
In a report by Realty Today, the team allegedly wants Nina Dobrev to return to the show and prefers Ian Somerhalder's exit instead.
The report added that the cast has been missing Nina Dobrev's friendliness and that they are not happy with Ian Somerhalder's attitude, which has been allegedly causing conflicts with other cast member.
Despite the effect of Nina Dobrev's departure from "The Vampire Diaries," Ian Somerhalder has remained positive of the show's performance.
"I personally think everyone thought it was going to be a huge departure after Elena (Nina Dobrev) was gone," Ian Somerhalder said per Variety. "And I was one of those people. I thought it was going to be a huge departure for the typical formula of our show."
"By virtue of the fact that it wasn't a huge leap for mankind, as far as changing it up, there were some differences that sort of mixed up the formula," he added.
It was reported that Nina Dobrev quit "The Vampire Diaries"as she wants to move on from her breakup with Ian Somerhalder.
The two were in a relationship for three years before they called it quits in 2013. Rumors have it that the "Perks of Being a Wallflower" star and "The Anomaly" actor decided to split because of their conflicting views on marriage and settling down.
It was reported that Nina Dobrev still wanted to pursue her acting career but Ian Somerhalder was all set to settle down and have kids.
After their highly publicized split, Ian Somerhalder began dating "Twilight" star Nikki Reed last year and they married in January this year.
Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev is now dating "Whiplash" actor Austin Stowell.
