Tori Spelling is looking after Dean McDermott's son, 17-year-old Jack McDermott. In an exclusive interview with Radar Online, the actor's former spouse, Mary Jo Eustace, explained their custody arrangement and why her son is living with the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star.
"I'm actually doing some work in Toronto right now, so Jack is staying with Dean," the celebrity chef revealed.
"It's the first time he's lived with Dean since our divorce, like ten years ago. I think it's been really good for both of them."
There's a lot of work that goes into being a teenager. I think it's really important. He needs his dad," she explained.
Prior to admitting that her son is living with Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Mary Jo Eustace has been making controversial claims about the celebrity couple.
According to a report from Perez Hilton, the former spouse accused the "True Tori" couple of faking the cheating scandal that scored them their controversial reality series.
The parents-of-four made news last year when Tori Spelling reportedly discovered Dean McDermott's extramarital affairs. However, media outlets have been doubtful about the authenticity of the cheating allegations since no one has been able to track down the alleged mistress, a faceless woman named Emily Goodhand.
According to media insiders, it has been unlikely that the supposed mistress has not yet sold a tell-all story to tabloids amid the public's clamor over Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's marriage.
Aside from seemingly lying about Dean McDermott's affair, people have also been questioning the alleged rehab stint of the former "Chopped: Canada" TV star. Per a report from Wetpaint, Mary Jo Eustace claimed that Dean McDermott only laughed when she called him at the time of his reported treatment.
"[Dean McDermott said] everything is fine," an insider narrated.
"Dean pretended to be checked into a long-term facility, but instead he was at a beachfront home in Malibu getting some R&R."
"It was all part of his plan," the insider added.
