There have been rumors that Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt have split because of the "Mad Men" actor's reluctance to have kids and build a family with his partner of 18 years.
Apparently, Jennifer Westfeldt was ready to bring a bundle of joy into the world, but she and her partner do not see eye-to-eye on the matter.
"I don't have a driving force to have a baby," Jon Hamm previously said, as quoted by News.com.au. "That said, I'm in a committed relationship, and if it ever came up. I'm not ruling it out."
But recently, the "Minions" actor was spotted Jennifer Westfeldt, sparking rumors that they might be rekindling their flame.
Is it possible that Jon Hamm agreed to have kids with Jennifer Westfeldt, paving way for the couple to give their relationship another shot?
"They were together for 18 years after all and it's hard to throw that much history out the window despite the fact that Jon and Jennifer never were married, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
"Now that Hamm is out of rehab and reportedly staying sober, it looks like he might want to work on his relationship with Jennifer too. Westfeldt has been their for her 'Mad Men' boyfriend through all of the highs and lows throughout his career and it's not really a surprise that she took Jon back."
It has been previously reported that Jon Hamm entered rehab for alcoholism and that the actor is working to get his life together.
Despite what could be a positive move for his and Jennifer Westfeldt's relationship, there are speculations that Jennifer's family may not be thrilled to see her back together with her ex.
"Getting Jennifer to forgive him was the easy part but if Jon wants to really repair his relationship, it will take some real work to convince his girlfriend's family to trust him again," CDL wrote.
"All they see is the heartless jerk who broke their girl's heart. Now if Hamm wants to really make an impression, maybe it's time to go ahead and commit to his longtime girlfriend and get married to Jennifer Westfeldt."
