"Vanderpump Rules" couple Mike Shay and Scheana Marie's marriage almost ended up in divorce because of his addiction to pills.

Mike Shay took to Twitter to express his gratitude to Scheana Marie for not walking out despite their struggles. "Thank you @scheanamarie for never giving up on me! I love you sooooooo much sweetheart! Thunder Buddies For Life!," he wrote.

Scheana Maried talked to E! News regarding Mike Shay's addiction to pills and how he's been turning his life around.

"As far as I know it was just the problem with the pills, it wasn't a problem with everything. So once he cut that out, he cut back on drinking," she said.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star continued, "We know he's doing what works for him. I don't think he needs rehab. He doesn't think he needs rehab. If he wants to go to a couple meetings, if he wants to stop drinking, he will 100-percent have my full support. I'm not even a big drinker anymore. I'm 30, we're married. My ideal night out is a night in on the couch, with my remote control, snuggled up with him. I would much rather do that."

Scheana Marie also said that divorce went to her mind because she thought "'I can't be married to an addict. Are you kidding me? No. I'm out. I'm done' if he continued that lifestyle."

Meanwhile, Jax Taylor isn't as confident about Mike Shay and Scheana Marie's marriage lasting for a long time.

"I have milk with a longer shelf life than that marriage," he says in an episode of "Vanderpump Rules."

Apparently, Jax Taylor thinks that Scheana Marie has very high expectations of Mike Shay.

"Jax goes on to say that Scheana is like his mother and not his wife. Jax thinks that Mike Shay is miserable in his marriage," said Inquistr. "Jax even wants to tell Scheana Marie what he thinks is the truth, but Lisa tells him to stay out of it."
