After signing a $4-million contract over two years, Jeremy Lin has become the difference-maker for the Charlotte Hornets which seem to sink or swim depending on how Linsanity plays.
Acccording to Sportige, Jeremy Lin was instrumental in the Charlotte Hornets' win against the Milwaukee Bucks.
"Compared to the previous games, Lin staying on the floor for most of the fourth quarter is an improvement, and he finished the game with a +10, behind only Frank Kaminsky and Jeremy Lamb, who Lin helped get going in the second quarter," the article said.
The article went on to add that the team on the floor looks better while Jeremy Lin is out there facilitating and scoring.
"The Hornets almost immediately become a worse team once Lin leaves the game, even if he isn't having a good shooting day," it added. "Lin isn't the kind of player to try and shoot himself out of a slump."
"For better and worse (sometimes you need to be selfish), Lin usually gets himself going by creating opportunities for others, and in the last season or two, through defense as well," it added.
Steve Clifford, meanwhile, will continue to tweak the roster with two offensive-minded with size pointguards, Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lin. Although Linsanity was grounded in the Los Angeles Lakers, he did managed to learn how to play off-ball last year with Kobe Bryant and Jeremy Clarkson taking on most of ball-handling duties.
That's not to say that Jeremy Lin is safe from all the trade rumors as the Charlotte Hornets reportedly is not ruling out shipping out Linsanity to another team for the right price.
There's the rumor that Jeremy Lin will be sent by the Charlotte Hornets to the Golden State Warriors, although that report was prompted by the interview by Linsanity who revealed that he almost joined the defending champs this past off-season, but thought better of it because that would mean getting less minutes.
