The "X Factor" UK finalist 4th Impact got eliminated after a deadlock against Lauren Murray. Soon after the announcement of their exit, youngest member Celina collapsed on stage.
All-Filipina sisters 4th Impact, who remained to be the sole girl group in "X Factor" UK, was announced to be the ninth act to leave the show last weekend.
Despite wowing the crowd with their own rendition of Jackson 5's "I'll Be There," the group had to undergo a sing-off against Rita Ora's act Lauren Murray. They also performed a mash-up of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl," Telegraph UK said.
Simon Cowell and mentor Cheryl Fernandes-Versini opted to make 4th Impact stay for the semi-finals but Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw went to vote for Lauren Murray, putting the competition to deadlock.
It was the fans turn to choose which act will stay in the competition and the voters opted for the 25-year-old receptionist.
After the announcement, it was reported that 19-year-old Celina collapsed on the stage.
"X Factor" UK finalist 4th Impact took to Twitter to update fans on Celina's condition and to thank them for the support, Hello Magazine said in a report.
"After their elimination, 4th Impact posted: "Thanks to all who voted for us, why we reach this far. Celina is ok now thanks for your prayers and love - love u guys. Lets keep believing," the tweet said.
They also extended their gratitude to their mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
"Just wanna say thank you for being with us through our whole journey. Can't wait what the world have in store 4 us," they tweeted.
Mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, meanwhile, responded saying, "Thank you for being the most gracious, humble & special little souls I have ever had the pleasure of working with, love you."
Remaining finalists Louisa Johnson, Che Chesterman, Reggie & Bollie, and Lauren Murray will advance to the semi-finals.
