There's no report yet on the release date of "Narcos" season 2, although various reports claimed that the future episodes may deal with his life as a fugitive until his eventual death.

When season 2 arrives, fans can expect new faces and also say goodbye to familiar characters.

Deadline has reported that Eric Lange has booked a regular gig for "Narcos" season 2, while Boyd Holbrook will be out.

"The creative team behind 'Narcos' crammed in a lot of information in season one's 10 episodes," said Ecumenical News.

"Generating concerns among fans that the series was moving too fast. Most feared that with the show's pace, the story "Narcos" is trying to tell will be all wrapped up by season two."

"Narcos" season 2 showrunner Jose Padilha explained to Variety that with the Netflix series, "you got two teams running together through the narrative."

"One is the formation of the Medellín cartel, the story of small time criminals ... who stumbled by luck, by chance, upon a product that you can call the perfect product," he continued. "How cocaine hit America and how it brought violence to America can only be narrated from the American perspective."

Executive producer Eric Newman added that they are careful not to paint every character in black and white, and the only way to explore all the nuances of the bad guys and good guys was to do the series.

However, the two showrunners have not revealed the release date for "Narcos" season 2.

"The series, which is created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro, stars Wagner Moura as Escobar and Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal as the DEA agents on his trail and offers a dueling perspective of the drug trade business of the 1980s," said Variety.

The release date for "Narcos" season 2 will likely be in August of 2016 as the first season was released around that time. But there's no confirmation yet from Netflix whether this is true or not.
