Is 5SOS hottie Calum Hood jealous about how Zayn Malik was able to get away from the frenzy of the One Direction?

Tabloids were quick to pounce on the idea of Calum Hood quitting 5SOS after the 19-year-old reportedly took to Twitter to post, "One day I will leave and live a normal life."

Apparently, the teenager already deleted the post, but not before being screen-grabbed by fan Harry Fallaway who posted the image along with this caption, "So Calum deleted this tweet and now I'm starting to feel dizzy I really hope this isn't about what I think it is."

One follower wrote, "i think its about mental illness and the pressure of being famous."

It must be remembered that Zayn Malik quit One Direction earlier this year to go solo following the beating he got from the tabloids and social media for allegedly cheating on Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards during the band's performance in Thailand.

Later, Zayn Malik also broke up with Perrie Edwards and is now said to be dating Gigi Hadid.

Hollywood Life said that the news about Calum Hood quitting 5SOS sent fans into a frenzy as the hashtag #WeLoveYouCalum was trending in Twitter.

"But fear not 5SOS family, because it looks like Calum isn't going anywhere - for now anyways," it said.

"Realizing the widespread panic that he caused, Calum followed up his original tweet with a with a super happy tweet involving goats and a smiley emoji. 'Me,' he wrote alongside a picture of a smiling baby goat that also included the caption, "this happy goat is making me feel so happy about everything."

The post by Calum Hood was taken to mean that he's not quitting 5SOS, but it also generated a lot of supportive comments from his followers.

"I hope you're smiling and if you're not, surround yourself with people who make you smile and do things that make you happy," one wrote.

"Are you okay calum? I'm so glad you finally tweeted. i know you won't see this i just truly hope you're okay," another said.

Calum Hood, however, did not address the report that he's quitting 5SOS.
