Ty Lawson has been playing inspired ball for the Houston Rockets as of late, but that doesn't mean that
he's already spared from all the NBA trade rumors. Meanwhile, new reports claimed that the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers are looking to trade Gerald Green for Jamal Crawford.
In an interview with ESPN, Ty Lawson appeared to be unbothered by all the NBA trade rumors involving him.
"They're pretty honest here and they would come up to me and tell me that," he said. "When that story came out, they came up to me and told me like there is no truth to it. I'm just playing here every day, go day by day, working hard and if things happen, things happen."
According to the article, the experiment to pair Ty Lawson and a dominating shooting guard in James Harden is not working, and naturally the blame is pinned on the point guard.
"It happens every day, even if you're playing well, teams are shopping you," Ty Lawson explained. "You just can't feed into it. Just keep being you."
In other NBA Trade Rumors, Basketball Insiders said that even if they would deny it, the Los Angeles Clippers is in a flux and a major shift in personnel is badly needed.
"The Clippers are not ready to blow things up, but there is a growing sense that the Clippers are willing to make a deal and that move may involve the ending contract of swingman Jamal Crawford," it said.
With Gerald Green already on the Miami Heat lineup it would be redundant to play the shooting guard alongside Jamal Crawford, which prompted speculations that they are going to be swapped.
The rumors of Jamal Crawford going to the Miami Heat is not new.
"The Miami Heat also reached out to Clippers management to gauge what it would take to pry Crawford away, a league source informed NEOMG," the Northeast Media Group reported back in July.
"His services are being courted to South Beach for scoring assistance and insurance in the event Dwyane Wade misses a game or two."
