Korean Animation "Larva" Rose As Emmy Awards Candidate

Korean Animation Larva's agency on October 8, 2013, said in a written statement, "Larva was picked as an Emmy Awards candidate in the kids' animation section."

Emmy Awards, hosted by the national television arts & sciences academy, awards the best television shows annually. Its prestige and recognition are comparable to those of the Academy Awards for the movies. Previously, "Larva" received the best animation award in Shanghai Television Festival, the biggest television festival in Asia.

Larva (Director Maeng Ju Gong), first released in 2011, is a wordless slapstick comedy story of two yellow and red larvals.

The international Emmy Awards is to be held in New York on February 10, 2014.
