Robert Pattinson was allegedly pressured by his family into a wedding with FKA Twigs over fears that the "Twilight" actor will reunite with former flame, Kristen Stewart.

According to OK! magazine, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, despite the fans' feelings about FKA Twigs, Robert Pattinson's family actually thinks that the British singer is good for the actor.

But Robert Pattinson's friends are against the wedding as they reportedly believes FKA Twigs a "gold digger."

"When friends say FKA is a gold digger, they may be right. But Robert's family doesn't see it that way. What the Pattinsons see is a guy who has taken on new interests - including music," CDL said.

"FKA Twigs was basically a nobody before hooking up with Robert Pattinson," it added. "[Now] FKA has been invited to many an A-list event including front row seats to the Versace fashion show at London Fashion Week.

Robert Pattinson is really close to his sisters and they, in turn, are very protective of the "Twilight" actor. When Kristen Stewart cheated on him with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, she was basically ostracized by the whole family.

However, there's no need for Robert Pattinson's family to be worried about a reunion with Kristen Stewart since she already found romance.

According to Glamour magazine, Kristine Stewart is dating Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, 21.

"The actress, 25, was spotted watching new potential love interest Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, 21, also known as Lynn Gvnn, performing with her hardcore band PVRIS last week," it said. "And the pair are so alike that they could actually be twins."

Although Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs were reported to have been engaged during the Coachella earlier this year, the pair has yet to give a date for their wedding. The two are already living together in his Los Angeles home and London flat.
