Kim Yuri, who played "Little Sun" Tae Yi Ryung in the drama "Master's Sun", talks about her similarities with the character, and her experience working with actors So Ji Sub and Seo In Guk during her interview with Sports Seoul.
On her character, she said, "We're both cheerful and talkative, but our personalities are really different. As an actress, my unique trait is that I'm the comfortable type, but I don't exactly display much of my emotions."
"In contrast to Tae Yi Ryung who is comical, I don't think I'm funny in real life. The only reason I was able to portray a hilarious character was because there were people much more experienced than I am who helped me improve myself."
She also talked about the frying pan dance which garnered a lot of interest from the viewers.
"The script by the Hong Sisters was really amazing, so I was able to gather inspiration from it. I practiced for four hours, and although I meant to pull off a serious scene, I'm glad that the dance had a lot of positive feedback from the staff and audience."
On her co-actors So Ji Sub and Seo In Guk, she said, "I didn't film much with So Ji Sub, but I spent a lot of time with Seo In Guk and I was able to get close to him."
"Master's Sun" raked in high ratings and broke records during its last episodes.
