Girls crushing on Charlotte Hornets guard Jeremy Lin will have to get the approval of his mom.
During the "Twinterview" portion in the Charlotte Hornets' Twitter account, Linsanity dropped by to answer a few questions from fans.
One fan, Ashley Centeno, asked Jeremy Lin, "Will you marry me?"
And Linsanity replied, "you have to ask my mom, shes the real boss."
That didn't seem to deter Ashley as she responded, "right on it hubby!"
Jeremy Lin has a very close relationship with his mom and his brothers.
In fact, on Mother's Day, Linsanity also showed his rapping skills in a tribute to his mom.
Although the rap was in Mandarin, the Shanghaiist published a translation which read in part, "I love my family: sister-in-law, Yaya (Joshua Lin, elder brother) and Lin Gie-ming (dad)/Don't forget younger bro and mom, her name is Wu Xin-xin (Shirley Lin)/Recently I become unhealthier, fatter, and gained five to six pounds/The best matter is that I don't need to eat my mom's soup."
Jeremy Lin's mother was also featured in one of the Vine videos uploaded by the Charlotte Hornets guard where he dunked on people.
Meanwhile, Master Herald reported that despite leaving the hype surrounding Los Angeles Lakers, for a more laidback basketball scene in the Charlotte Hornets, Jeremy Lin just couldn't shed off his Linsanity persona.
Jeremy Lin is averaging about 10.4 points for the Charlotte Hornets this season, which was down to the 11.2 points per game average that he was posting with the Los Angeles Lakers.
"It is just ironic and quite absurd really to compare his points after 19 games and put it against an average for the entire season last year composed of 82 games. Somehow it just does not do justice and obviously, the site is just capitalizing on the popularity of Jeremy Lin on the internet," it said.
