Jenelle Evans news reported that the "Teen Mom" cast member will be off to court soon. According to a report from Radar Online, the reality star is facing assault charges from Nathan Griffith's new girlfriend.

Jenelle Evans made news earlier this year after she allegedly threw a glass at Jessica Henry, the new girlfriend of her former beau, Nathan Griffith. The incident reportedly took place at Jessica Henry's home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

As stated in police documents, law enforcement officers involved in the incident do not believe Jenelle Evans' version of the story.

Soon after, legal representatives of Jenelle Evans told news sites that the assault case will have a jury trial.

"The case will automatically come to jury court," an insider explained.

"A notice will be sent to [Jenelle and her attorney] in the mail notifying them of the date of the trial. It will be sometime next year."

Aside from Jenelle Evans' own assault allegations, the MTV mainstay was also dragged into controversy because of her ex-husband's recent arrest.

In Touch Weekly reported about how Courtland Rogers, who is currently in Brunswick County Jail after being busted for heroin possession last month.

The 29-year-old could stay behind bars for close to three years.

Aside from heroin possession, Courtland Rogers has also been slammed for "being a habitual felon."

His drug use was revealed in 2014 when a controversial video showed him injecting himself with heroin.

"I did relapse, see all my track marks," he boasts in the clip.

In an interview with GlamMir, Jenelle Evans shared how she has moved forward from Courtland Rogers and Nathan Griffith with the help of her new beau, David Eason.

"I haven't been this happy in a while," she said.

"We really have not had one argument at all. He really knows how to handle me when I get in my moods, when I'm irritable or have anxiety."
