"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds, despite being launched to stardom as a party animal in the movie "Van Wilder," is a homebody who would rather spend quiet time with wife Blake Lively and their daughter, Baby James.
He told Woman's Day that although he knows about his commitments to go out, his need for privacy take premium.
"I think it's keeping a boundary that there's this world that is the job and the world that is the home," he said of his wife Blake Lively and baby James. "We don't live in L.A. We live on a farm in New York, and we don't lead a wild and crazy life. It's not that hard. It's not a big deal."
"I've never been the guy stumbling out of bars at three in the morning, at least that anyone is aware of. It's never been my thing," the "Deadpool" star said.
Although Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively are careful not to put the face of their daughter on the Internet, the first-time father couldn't help but post a photo of baby James holding his thumb. He captioned it with his usual humor, "Thumb wrestling isn't always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one."
One fan begged, "U should post more of the baby and Blake."
Nevertheless, Ryan Reynolds' Instagram account is mostly filled with photos of his new movies, particularly "Deadpool" and "Mississippi Grind," as well as his advocacies.
One rare photo of wife Blake Lively, however, made its way to his Instagram but it was for a cause. He wrote, "Today is #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Please help @MichaelJFoxOrg go out of business by donating to speed a cure for #Parkinsons disease. Today your donation will be doubled dollar for dollar. Your gift can make a real difference to the five million people living with Parkinson's worldwide."
Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively welcomed baby James in December 2014.
