"Avengers Infinity War" spoilers were recently revealed by co-director Anthony Russo, who finally spoke up if "The Defenders" will make in appearance in the said film.

According to a report from Comic Book, the film exec was asked if another group of Marvel superheroes will appear in the two-part action-adventure films.

"Avengers Infinity War" spoilers circulating the Internet have been hinting at a team-up called "The Defenders," which includes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

However, Anthony Russo clarified that the rumored new squad will not be part of the upcoming film.

"It's complicated," he said.

"When we start to serialize the telling of stories is difficult. You have to have a lot of control and focus on the course of history."

"The films are controlled by a group led by Kevin Feige, so they function as a unit. Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others. Then there is the possibility of a crossover, but is more complicated," the co-director added.

Aside from clarifying "Avengers Infinity War" spoilers, a related feature by Games Radar pointed out that Anthony Russo did not exactly rule out about a future crossover between the Netflix heroes and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Past TV and movie collaborations include the big screen adaptation of Agent Coulson's "Agents of SH.I.E.L.D."

With the growing popularity of "The Defenders," some fans are also hoping that the superhero squad would gain enough fame to eventually star in their own full-feature movie.

Anthony Russo will be directing the latest installment in the widely-followed "Avengers" series along with his brother, Joe Russo.

Aside from serving as movie directors, the two have partnered on several film and television projects as screen writers, producers and even actors.

The Russo brothers have also been recognized by the Emmy Awards for their work in the popular television sitcom "Arrested Development." Their most popular collaborations include "Captain America: Civil War" and "Ant-Man."

Their back-to-back installment of the "Avengers: Infinity War" will reportedly be released on May 2018, with the second part slated for May 2019.
