"Frozen 2" plot might explore Anna's darker side, according to several reports, although there's no news yet on whether or not Prince Hans will be cast again in the sequel.
According to CrossMap, the new villain for the second installment of "Frozen" will be a woman.
There are some theories on the Internet that Anna will also discover her own power, which will bring her over to the dark side.
While there's no official release yet of the "Frozen 2" plot, various rumors claimed Prince Hans will be coming back, but this time he will be romancing Queen Elsa.
"I guess this plot has a lot to do with second chances and forgiveness, but after the stunt that Prince Hans pulled off in the first film, it'll take Disney a whole lot to make the audience convince that Prince Hans can be good," Sophia Smith wrote in her article.
Movie Pilot suggested several Nordic and Scandinavian folklores that could be used by "Frozen 2" plot.
There's the Huldra, which are described as enchanting females who lure their victims to their deaths.
There's also the Fossegrimen, who are described as nymph-like.
"They're usually male, and occasionally like to drown passers by (they would also dance naked in front of travelers that offended them!) This would be an interesting magical creature for Elsa and Anna to encounter on their journey," it said.
Also, there's Huldufolk, which are troll-like in appearance and temperament. And because there are already trolls in the first film, the chance of them making it to the "Frozen 2" is nil.
Director Chris Buck earlier gave a hint of the "Frozen 2" plot, particularly on Anna, in an article on HitFix.
"Her superpower is love. That's Anna's superpower," he said.
Co-director Jennifer Lee chimed in, "You know, like a mama bear can raise a car off their kid with their super strength, love is very powerful."
Watch out for more "Frozen 2" plot, cast and rumors which would be published here as they come alone.
