Uee and Lee Seo Jin have confirmed that they will star in a 20-episode melodrama about a contract marriage.

The actors are wrapping up the details of their contracts so they can appear in 'Wife For 100 Days" aka "Marriage Contract."

In this upcoming weekend drama, Uee plays Kang Hye Soo, a woman whose husband dies in an accident. She raises her child alone. After she discovers she has an inoperable brain tumor she agrees to a contract marriage so she can provide a guardian for her daughter.

The person she agrees to marry is Han Ji Hoon, formerly a musician and a songwriter.

Lee plays Han Ji Hoon. The former musician is now the owner of a restaurant. His character has also been described as a cool and charismatic player, not the kind of man who is inclined to settle down and get married. So, it will be interesting to see what finally convinces him to sign the 100-day contract. And it will also be interesting to see what convinces Uee's character to leave her only child in the care of a former playboy.

"Wife For 100 Days" will be Lee Seo Jin's first drama in two years. His last drama appearance was in "Wonderful Days" in 2014. In 2015 he appeared on three variety shows, "Running Man," "Three Meals A Day" and "Grandpas Over Flowers."

Uee appeared in two dramas last year, "High Society" and "Ho Gu's Love." She also played a single mom in "Ho Gu's Love." It will not be Uee's first weekend drama as she previously starred in "Golden Rainbow" with Jung Il Woo and "Ojakgyo Brothers." "Wife For 100 Days" is not as long as most weekend dramas, which often exceed 20 episodes.

Tears will flow, say the drama's producers, so you may as well stock up on some tissues.

"We will show an exceptional and heartrending love story."

The melodrama is scheduled to air in in February after the end of "My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol."
