Lee Min Ki had his debut in 2005, with his appearance on the drama, "Be Strong, Geum Soon!" He then appeared on various Korean dramas as well as films but he became popularly known for his role in the romantic drama, "Because this is My First Life", "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim", and "The Beauty Inside". He was known for his expressionless face for his acting that got the attention of his fans.

Though, in this drama, the actor will be going to play the role of a first-class detective. Jo Tae Sik, played by Lee Min Ki, despite the honor he is receiving for being one of the best detectives just wants to live peacefully, that is why he transferred into the countryside where there are fewer people.

Even though he thought he will finally have the ordinary life, he will then met Kim Seo Hee who was portrayed by Lee Yoo Young who is the daughter of a lawmaker who died in a car accident and the wife of the missing husband, which is the case Tae Sik is trying to solve. They will then work together to solve the mystery behind the death of Seo Hee's father and the case of her missing husband.

Seeing Lee Min Ki plays the role of a detective is one of the sole reasons why his fans and viewers were already anticipating the drama.

Meanwhile, on September 24, "Marie Claire", a fashion magazine has the press release of Lee Min Ki's pictorial for the magazine. On the photos, his famous "expressionless" face was featured as he poses wearing a white long-sleeve jacket on a red background while on his second photo, the actor was in a black and white themed photo, featuring his stunning visuals while wearing a suit.

The complete set of his pictorial images for the magazine and his full interview about the drama will be out for Marie Claire's October Mag Issue as well as his drama with Yoo Young, "Everyone's Lie" will be having its premiere on October 12, taking over the time slot of the thriller drama, "Strangers In Hell".
