Before becoming an actress, Kwon was primarily known as a member of the Korean girl group "Hello Venus" not until they announced their disbandment also this year, April 2019. Kwon Nara then focused on her acting career and got her first lead role for "Doctor Prisoner"
She had her first acting appearance in 2014, for the Korean drama, "In Need of Romance 3", where she just had a cameo scene as a radio program guest. Kwon also had her cameo for "Cunning Single Lady" as well as for, "Entertainer." Kwon Nara had her first major role, in "Suspicious Partner" a legal and romantic-comedy-drama, where she played the second female lead role, Cha Yoon Jung, alongside actor Ji Chang Wook, Nam Ji Hyun, and Choi Tae Joon. The Korean drama gained high viewership ratings throughout its broadcast and the actress was recognized by a lot of viewers as well, not only for her clean visuals but for her acting skills too.
After "Suspicious Partner" her career boosted and was given a role for "My Mister" and Your Honor" both in 2018.
And this year, Kwon was blessed to become part of one of the highest Korean Drama which mobilized 17% viewership rating for its ending, recorded by AGB Nielson Korea in Seoul, and a 15% rating nationwide.
In her speech during the awarding which took place in Gyeongnam Culture and Art Center in Jinju, Kwon Nara said, "Thank you to all the directors, writers, actresses, and staff who were with me. I am not enough yet, but I will be an actress who can grow a step as much as the award I received."
She also posed for her certification shots, wearing a white dress that made her beauty like a doll stands out while showing the trophy she got. Her innocent but at the same time, sexy aura captivated viewers may it be a kid or an adult.
Meanwhile, Actress Kwon Nara is currently working for her next project, where she will be coming out with a different charm, an elegant and proper lady for the Korean drama, "Itaewon Class". Fans were already anticipating this drama and are rooting for the actress's performance.
